The lust and longing of the permissive society has well and truly taken hold of the apparently respectable Wicksteed family. Arthur Wicksteed, a 53 year old GP, is bored with married life, as is his wife Muriel. His spinster sister Connie, obsessed with having bigger boobs, is engaged to a pervy vicar. His son Dennis is convinced he has just months to live. This lively farce is rounded off by the temptress Felicity, her Thatcher-like mother, and Sir Percy Shorter, who has a score to settle with Arthur. Mrs Swabb, the Wicksteed's gossipy cleaner, narrates and guides us through the mayhem. Back to Current Production
